This painting was inspired by the social unrest in our country and injustice. Even though people of color are constantly targets of racial and injustice, we are uninterrupted by our vigilant.

Jimmy Clark Jr. is a self-taught and emerging acrylic painter, originally from Louisiana but resides in Florida by way of Virginia. A retired veteran and civil servant, he draws inspiration from his global travel and life experiences. He creates abstract and landscape paintings that reflect his passion for art, which he rekindled after following a conventional career path.
