Artist's Description
This is the third painting of my collection called the Louisiana Connection. As a native of Louisiana, I wanted to represent my heritage and Tensas Parish where I grew up. This piece has a mixture of bright acrylic colors on canvas. My inspiration for this painting comes from Vincent Van Gogh, one of my favorite Impressionist Artist.

Jimmy Clark Jr. is a self-taught and emerging acrylic painter, originally from Louisiana but resides in Florida by way of Virginia. A retired veteran and civil servant, he draws inspiration from his global travel and life experiences. He creates abstract and landscape paintings that reflect his passion for art, which he rekindled after following a conventional career path.
